Blues in the Schools

Music education is back, thanks to Blues in the Schools! The Blues in the Schools program gives kids, elementary through high school, an exciting, educational, and interactive glimpse of the world of blues music, teaching its importance not only in history, but in basic music appreciation.

BLUES OUT!

Blues Out! takes our in-school program to the next level. It gives kids an opportunity to experience live music, learn more about music making, and access community music resources — all in a family-friendly atmosphere. Our Blues Out! events are held three times each school year at Cozmic Pizza. They are open to all students and their families from the past three months of in-school presentations and feature a live blues band, interaction with the band, on-site music lessons, and information about community music resources. Students who submit their own blues song in advance will get a free pizza and drink coupon and compete for a chance to hear the band sing their song live as well as win free music lessons for six months.
